Description

The Product Engineer will work as a core team member of the product/test engineering team to bring Skyworks' RF integrated solutions into high volume manufacturing. You will be working closely with engineers across multiple functional teams. You will also need to simultaneously handle multiple development projects. This position includes responsibility for both development and sustaining activities and includes limited travel.

Responsibilities

- Managing production support engineering for a specific product or group of products after transfer from design to high volume production.
- Developing production and characterization test specifications
- Performing characterization, ATE, and probe data analysis
- Creating and managing product documentation
- Providing product development support which involves interfacing with Design, Test Engineering, Quality Engineering, and other teams
- Driving cost reduction activities such as second sources qualification, yield enhancement, and test time reduction

Required Experience and Skills

- Must have Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 12 years, or Masters EE Degree with 8 years, or PhD and 5 years experience with strong exposure to RF parameters.
- Candidate should have a good understanding of RF parameters.
- Must possess strong data analysis skills and the ability to debug production and development issues, such as on ATE or bench characterization equipment.
- Team player, strong documentation and communication skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $129,400 - $247,800 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock.
